Exhaust through the propeller on all 4-6hp Mercury® FourStroke engines is underwater for quieter operation. Refueling options. Mercury's 4, 5 and 6 hp FourStroke engines include integrated fuel tanks with an external shut-off valve as well as a fuel tank cap on top of the engine cover. For extended range, the engines can also be connected to a separate fuel tank located in the boat.
